Greetings to you! I am Lord Benedict of Askerigge, current Astrolabe Herald for the SCA in New Zealand, which comprises the eastern provinces of the Kingdom of Lochac. My position is one of a regional co-ordinator for the SCA heraldry across the country, covering the administration and further education of the heralds active across all the groups, and I am a deputy to the Kingdom’s Crux Australis Herald.

This is a central reference point for all the aspects of New Zealand SCA Heraldry, and will allow you to:

- Track the status of submissions to the SCA College of Arms, and view the Roll of Arms of the populace

- See the combined New Zealand Order of Precedence, and an explanation of what the awards are and how the Lochac and Caidan awards compare

What is the SCA and what does it have to do with heraldry?

The Society of Creative Anachronism is an international society focussed on the re-enactment and research on almost any aspect of the culture and history of the medieval period of Western civilisation (c. 600 -1600 A.D.)

This is the 43^rd year of the Society’s existence and there are now well over 50,000 players worldwide.
